ROWLAND K. HAYNES.
The obsequies of Rowland K. Haynes, who departed this life at Newport News 
Saturday in the 34th year of his age, were held from the residence of his father, 
18 Arlington Place, Norfolk, at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon. The service was 
conducted by Rev. C. C. Ryan of the Memorial Christian temple. The remains were 
laid to rest in Elmwood cemetery.
Following were the pallbearers: J. L. Brown, V. E. Brown, C. H. Palmer Jr., F. O. 
Godman, E. O. Saunders and Mr. Richardson. They are from the Southern Bell 
Telephone and Telegraph Company, with which young Haynes was connected.
