OXNARD, Calif. -  Mrs. Lydia Gordon Brown Haynie, 81, of 1831 Earhart County, 
Oxnard, a Norfolk native and a California resident for nine years, died Monday.
She was the widow of John C. Haynie.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Henry L. Skinner of Oxnard, two sons, Robert W. 
Haynie of Exmore, Va., and Edward Haynie of Accomac, Va., a sister, Mrs. Helen 
Critz of Norfolk; two brothers, Andrew W. Brown of Xenia, Ohio, and Richard L. 
Brown of Norfolk, and three grandchildren.
The body was sent to H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, where a funeral 
will be held Friday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Phillip C. Kestner. Burial will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery.
