The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Saturday January 10, 1931
William Jackson Heard, III, aged six years, son of William Jackson Heard, 
Jr. and Elma Glenn Page, died at the residence of his parents, 1819 
Montclair avenue, last night at 7:45 o'clock.  Besides his parents, he is 
survived by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Heard, of Norfolk 
and Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Glenn, of Mountain View, Cal.  Funeral 
arrangements will be announced later.

six year old son of William Jackson Heard, Jr. and Elma Glenn Page, whose 
death occurred Friday night at the residence, 1819 Monclair avenue, will be 
held privately tomorrow morning.

William Jackson Heard, III - Funeral services for William Jackson Heard, 
III, six year old son of William Jackson Heard, Jr. and Elma Glenn Page, 
whose death occurred Friday night at the residence, 1819 Montclair avenue, 
were held privately yesterday morning at the grave in Elmwood Cemetery.  The 
Rev. M.S. Eagle, pastor of St. Bride's Episcopal Church, officiated.  The 
casket was covered with a pall of pink and white carnations and ferns.

According to death certificate and obits this is William III (father is 
William Jr.) not William IV.
