Virginian-Pilot  September 30, 1927
William Edward Heath, a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, died at his 
residence, 1726 Brown avenue, yesterday afternoon at 4:30 o’clock. He was an 
employee of the Norfolk post office for the past 40 years and was a member of the 
Modern Woodmen of America. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Josie Reardon Heath; 
five daughters, Nora R., Leah L., Felicia, Cecelia J. and Marjorie Heath, all of 
Norfolk; one son, William Edward Heath, Jr., of Raleigh, N.C., and one sister, 
Mrs. Fannie White, of Norfolk.
Funeral services will be conducted from St. Mary’s Catholic Church Monday morning 
at 10 o’clock. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
