Mrs. Edith Baldwin Heatherton, 74, widow of George A. Heatherton and daughter of 
the late Silas and Mrs. Catherine Zinard Baldwin, died at a Norfolk hospital 
yesterday at 12:30 p.m. She was a native of Hagerstown, Md., and a resident of 
Norfolk 35 years, residing at 263 East 40th Street at the time of her death.
Surviving her are several nieces and nephews and her mother-in-law, Mrs. Catherine 
Dyer Heatherton, of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to St. Mary’s 
Catholic Church for services tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. Rosary services will be 
conducted at the funeral apartments tonight at 7:30.
