Norfolk Landmark, April 25, 1898
The funeral services of Miss Ida Bennett Hebden, daughter of Mrs. Priscilla and 
the late Charles A. Hebden, who died at the home of her mother, corner of Church 
and Charlotte streets, at 6:40 o'clock Saturday morning in the 16th year of her 
age, took place from Emanuel Episcopal Chapel yesterday afternoon and was largely 
attended. The deceased had a large circle of friends who assembled to pay their 
last sad tribute of respect. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
