Virginian-Pilot May 10, 1960
NORFOLK - Mrs. Mabel Baker Hechler, 74, widow of Harry Lee Hechler, and daughter 
of Thomas and Elizabeth Baker, a native of Ahoskie, N.C., and a resident of 
Norfolk 40 years, died Sunday at 11:40 p.m., at the residence, 1333 Westover Ave.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Luther B. Marshall Jr. of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be held in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Wednesday at 11 
a.m. with burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
