Evangeline Margaret Downing Hedrick, 76, died Dec. 12, 1993, in a Maryland 
hospital.

Mrs. Hedrick was a native of Norfolk, Va. She was the widow of Edward V. Hedrick 
and the daughter of the late Cornelius and Frances Spindel Downing.

Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn J. Zdziera of Leesburg, Va. Barbara A. 
Lowery of British Columbia; two sons, Edward D. Hedrick of Joppa and Michael C. 
Hedrick of Havre De Grace, Md.; a sister, Mary D. Heyes of New York state; and two 
grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be conducted at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday in Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church by Father John J. Dorgan. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in 
Norfolk. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
