At the same hour, funeral services were held at the residence of the unfortunate young lady's father, on South Queen street, Rev. Henry Walker, pastor of St. John's German Lutheran Church, officiating. Additional Comments: There is an article in the Norfolk Landmark on March 8, 1887, pg. 1, about an oil lamp explosion at 150 Wolf Street, but the woman named was not Amanda. There is an A. Hefner listed in the VA death register who died of burns on March 8, at 151 Wolf Street.
