SARAH A. HEISTAND Mrs. Sarah A. Heistand, widow of Dr. A. M. Heistand, died at St. Vincent's hospital at 10:15 o'clock yesterday morning after an illness of six weeks, in the 88th year of her age. Mrs. Heistand was the mother of the late Dr. A. B. Heistand. Her husband, who came to Norfolk about 31 years ago, was the first doctor to live and practice medicine in the Atlantic City ward of Norfolk. His son opened the first drug store in that section. Mrs. Heistand was the oldest member of LeKies Memorial Methodist church. The funeral will be held at 4:30 o'clock this afternoon at H. C. Smith's funeral apartments, 306 Bank street. Services will be conducted by Rev. J. T. Routten, on account of the absence of Rev. V. W. Bargamin, pastor of LeKies church. Interment in Elmwood cemetery. Mrs. Mary Patterson, a sister of Mrs. Heistand, resides at Mount Joy, Pa.
