Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark November 4, 1917

HEITMAN - At the residence of her niece, Mrs. B. Whitehurst, 1817 Willoughby 
Avenue, Saturday morning, November 3, 1917, at 1:30 o'clock, JUDITH B., widow of 
Henry O. Heitman, age 66 years.
Funeral services from the residence, THIS (Sunday) AFTERNOON, November 4, at 
3:30 o'clock. Friends of the family invited to attend. Interment Cedar Grove 
Cemetery.

Mrs. Judith B. Heitman, widow of Henry O. Heitman, died yesterday morning at 
1:30 o'clock at the home of her niece, Mrs. B. Whitehurst, 1817 Willoughby 
Avenue. She was a native of Norfolk and was 66  years old. She had lived here 
all her life and was well known and highly regarded. The funeral will take place 
this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the above residence and will be conducted by 
Rev. S.T. Senter, D.D., of Epworth Methodist Church. Interment will be in Cedar 
Grove Cemetery.

The funeral of Mrs. Judith B. Heitman took place at the residence of her niece, 
Mrs. Whitehurst, 1817 Willoughby Avenue, yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock and 
was conducted by Rev. S.T. Senter, D.D., of Epworth Memorial M.E. Church. The 
services were largely attended and there were numerous floral offerings. The 
burial was in Cedar Grove Cemetery, the pallbearers being C.C. Avery, J.A. 
Whitehurst, J.F. Bell, Walter Siebert, Ira T. Holt and J.S. Reah.
