Heitman died at 2:30 o'clock yesterday morning at the family residence, 236 Nineteenth Street. He was 61 years old. Mr. Heitman was a native of Portsmouth, but had lived in Norfolk 40 years and was well known. He had been an engineer on the tug Katie for 25 years. He was a member of Minewa Tribe of Red Men, No. 32 Lodge of Odd Fellows and of the Marine Engineers' Beneficial Association. The funeral will be held at the residence at 3 o'clock this afternoon. Services will be conducted by Rev. Dr. T.A. Smoot. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
