THOMAS K., JR., USA - In the Normandy invasion, June 7, 1944, PFC. THOMAS K. HELVIN, JR., USA, son of Thomas K. and Mrs. Grace Hogshire Helvin, of London Bridge, Princess Anne County. Funeral services will be conducted at the grave in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, at 4 o'clock (D.S.T.) SUNDAY AFTERNOON. Friends of the family invited to attend. Thomas K. Helvin, Jr. - Funeral services for Pfc. Helvin, United States Army, were conducted at the grave in Elmwood Cemetery yesterday at 4 p.m. by the Rev. W. H. Garman, pastor of the People's Church, and the Rev. John B. Stone, pastor of the London Bridge Baptist Church. Full military honors were accorded at the grave. Pallbearers were George Wadsworth, Jr., Ralph Midgette, Jr., Robert Braithwaite, Joseph R. White, Jr., Eugene Strobkorf, Charles Cashman, Jr., Harry Church and Joseph Byrd.
