The Virginian Pilot Tuesday June 13, 1978
William Rowe Hemingway, 74, of 834 Westover Ave., the husband of Mrs. Marion 
G. Hemingway and a lifelong Norfolk resident, died Sunday in his home.
He was a real estate agent with Thomson-Etheredge & Co.
He was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary P. Wielder of Florida; a son, 
William R. Hemingway Jr. of Virginia Beach; a sister, Mrs. Dale D. Hinman of 
Norfolk; and four grandchildren.
The body was taken to H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments for a funeral today at 
2 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery by the Rev. Roger C. Snyder.  The family has 
requested that flowers be omitted and memorial donations may be made to the 
Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters.
