Norfolk - Mrs. Susie Henderson, 73, of 1013 Elkin street, who died May 8 in a 
Henderson, NC hospital, was given final rites Sunday at First Church of Christ 
Holiness.  She was buried in Calvary Cemetery, under direction of Graves Funeral 
Home.

Bishop David McPherson officiated at the rites for Mrs. Henderson, who was a 
member of First Church of Christ Holiness.  She was a member of the senior usher 
board, the Pastor’s Aid Society and Missionary Circle at the Church.

Mrs. Henderson, a native of Henderson, was the daughter of Stephen Fields and 
Mrs. Betty Fields and the wife of Fred Henderson.  Her survivors include a son, 
Abie Henderson of Norfolk;  three daughters, Mrs. Lucy Brookins, Mrs. Mary 
Cavell and Mrs. Thelma Gay of Norfolk;  a brother, Milton Fields of Henderson;  
10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
