Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch December 24, 1946
Grace Coggin Henderson, widow of Thom. W. Henderson, died today at her home at 
Holly road and Thirty-fifth street, Virginia Beach. Funeral services will be 
conducted at the grave in Elmwood Cemetery Thursday at 12 o'clock, with the Rev. 
C. W. Carhan, rector of Galilee Episcopal Church, officiating.
Mrs. Henderson, a native of Sussex County, but a resident of Norfolk and Virginia 
Beach most of her life, is survived by a sister, Miss Mattie Gary Coggin and a 
niece, Miss Elizabeth Hartley Graves, both of Virginia Beach, and an aunt, Mrs. W. 
I. Winfield, of Stoney Creek.
She was the daughter of the late Dr. W. W. Coggin and Mrs. Elizabeth Hartley 
Coggin.
