NORFOLK — Thomas Leroy Henderson Jr., 66, of 714 Barksdale Road, the husband of 
Mrs. Dorothy Crumpler Henderson and a son of Mrs. Mary Blaine Henderson of 
Norfolk and the late Thomas Leroy Henderson. Sr., died in a hospital Thursday at 
10:30 a.m.
He was a lifelong resident of Norfolk. He was a member of Lafayette Odd Fellows 
Lodge 9. He was retired from Oceana Naval Air Station.	•
Besides his widow and mother, he is survived by a son, Arthur Leroy Henderson of 
Norfolk; three sisters, Mrs. Charlotte Gray and Miss Esther Henderson of Norfolk 
and Mrs. Madeline Futrell of Youngstown, Ohio; and a brother, Cecil F. Henderson 
of Roseville, Calif.
The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Oakdale Presbyterian 
Church for a funeral service Saturday at 10:30 a.m. by the Rev. Joseph P. 
Griffiths. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to American Cancer Society.
