Norfolk Journal and Guide, Saturday, Mar. 2, 1957, pg. A12
Funeral services for Herman Henderson, 1601 Manson street, were held at St.
Thomas AMEZ Church with the pastor, the Rev. M. L. Beamon, officiating.  Burial
was in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Henderson was a member of the Improved Lodge No. 192 AF and AM, United Order
of Odd Fellows and the 2nd Consistory.

Surviving Mr. Henderson are his wife, Mrs. Mary Clark Henderson, a daughter,
Miss Mary C. Henderson, a son, Lyndell Henderson, and a brother, Arthur Henderson.
