Henderson, 810 Olney Road, Monday, December 1, 1913, at 5 a.m., MARTHA E. HENDERSON, widow of the late Laban Henderson, in the 85th year of her age. The funeral will take place from the Central Baptist Church TUESDAY, December 2, at 3 p.m. Friends and acquaintances respectfully invited to attend. ******************* Mrs. Martha E. Henderson, widow of Laban Henderson, died at 5 o'clock yesterday morning at the residence of her son, J.L. Henderson, 810 Olney Road, after a lingering illness. She was 84 years old. Mrs. Henderson was a native of Virginia and had resided in Norfolk for twenty-three years. She is survived by two sons, Police Sergeant J.L. Henderson of Norfolk and Captain E.P. Henderson of Washington, D.C. The funeral will take place at 3 o'clock this afternoon at the Central Baptist Church. Services will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. G.W. Swope. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
