Minnick, of Pulaski, yesterday at 7:30 a.m. A native of Norfolk, she resided here prior to making her home with her sister following the death of her husband, Alfred Leon Hendren, in May, 1948, She was a daughter of the late Edward Scott and Mrs. Mary Emma Crowder Ashlin. She was a member of Epworth Methodist Church and had been a member of Virginia Chapter 22, Order of Eastern Star, for the past 25 years. Mrs. Hendren is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Minnick and Mrs. T.E. Fauntleroy, of Washington, and a brother, Edward S. Ashlin, Jr., of Miami, Fla. Funeral services will be conducted at the Cox Funeral Home tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. by the Rev. Joseph S. Johnston, D.D., pastor of Epworth Methodist Church. The body will arrive in Norfolk Tuesday morning.
