Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, November 16, 1997 
Ruby D. Hendren, 88, of the 700 block of Suffolk Lane, died Nov. 14, 1997. 
Born in Norfolk, she was the widow of Edward L. Hendren Jr. and a homemaker. 
She was a member of St. Aidans Episcopal Church, Virginia Beach. 
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Edward Dale Hendren and Priscilla 
Hendren of Virginia Beach; a brother, W.W. ''Snookie'' Dail Jr. of Chesapeake; 
two grandchildren, Elizabeth ''Beth'' Runzo of Virginia Beach, Michael Hendren 
of Norfolk; two great-grandchildren, Aaron and Dustin Runzo of Virginia Beach. 
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Magnolia Cemetery 
by the Rev. Mark Delcuze. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 
Lynnhaven Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday.
