Norfolk - George Dean Hendricks Jr. of 890 Avenue A recently received final 
rites at Riddick Funeral Home.  He died at his home.

The Rev. W. L. Hildebrand officiated at the service.  Burial was in Calvary 
Cemetery.

Mr. Hendricks is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hattie Hendricks;  three sisters, 
Mrs. Jeanette C. Jenkins, Mrs. Florence Jordan and Mrs. Helen Clanton of 
Norfolk;  an aunt, Mrs. Mary White of Newport News;  six nephews, Airmen Ronald 
Hendricks of New York and Raymond Hendricks of Maryland, S/Sgt. George C. Jones 
of England, Lt. Bernard Hendricks of Texas and Robert Hendricks of Norfolk;  and 
five nieces, Mrs. Barbara Hendricks and Miss Helen Hendricks of Portsmouth, Miss 
Helen Hendricks of Washington, Mrs. Jean Brown of Cllinton, OK, and Mrs. 
Florence Goffigan of Norfolk.
