Norfolk Journal and Guide, Nov. 22,1975
Norfolk - Major Hendricks of 1314 Brambleton Ave., died Monday, November 10, in
a hospital.

A native of Roanoke Rapids NC, he was retired from Virginia Transit Co. after 35
years.  He was a Mason.

Survivors include three nieces, Mary Fernell of Ahoskie,NC, Willie Mae Warren of
Pendelton, NC, and Bernice Warren of Menola, NC;  and three nephews, Thomas Long
of Long Branch, NJ, Herbert Long of Norfolk, and Otis Long of Murfreesboro.

A funeral service was held Tuesday, November 18 in First Calvary Baptist Church
by the Rev. Roy Edler.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.  Metropolitan Funeral
Home had charge.
