Hendricks, a retired aircraft production superintendent division director, died Jan. 5, 1992, in Norfolk. Mr. Hendricks was born in Lima, Pa. He had retired from the Naval Air Rework Facility after 33 years. He was treasurer of Liberty Springs Hunt Club. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and received the Navy Meritorious Civilian Service Award. He was a member of the National Association of Superintendents and was a Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Jean W. Hendricks; five daughters, Jeannie M. Hieb of Houston, Texas, Deborah K. Braun of Norfolk, Pamela L. Baggett of Isle of Wight, Cynthia A. Hendricks of Virginia Beach and Michele H. Bradshaw of Suffolk; three sons, John R. Hendricks Jr. of Fort Myers, Fla., and Paul B. Hendricks and Stephen W. Hendricks, both of Norfolk; a sister, Theresa Morris of Atlanta; two brothers, Martin Hendricks of Arizona and James Hendricks of Pennsylvania; and nine grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Friends may join the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters.
