The Virginian Pilot (Norfolk) Sunday August 16, 1981
HENDY, ROY PATRICK -- in his residence 426 Painter Street, Norfolk, Friday. ROY 
PATRICK HENDY, husband of Mrs. Barbara Synon Hendy, in the 78th year of his 
age. Mr. Hendy was a former accountant and office manager with Smith Douglas 
Company. Services in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Newport and Painter 
St., Norfolk, Monday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. The 
family will receive friends in the funeral home today (Sunday) from 3 to 5 p.m. 
H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments will be handling the arrangements.
