Virginian-Pilot September 21, 1958
NORFOLK — Mrs. Rosa Bloxom Henley, 82, widow of Leonard B. Henley, and daughter of 
the late Thomas Jefferson and Mrs. Ella Scott Bloxom, died Saturday at 5:10 p.m. 
in a Norfolk hospital.
She was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and a member of First Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by five nephews, Lee M. Bloxom and Norman A. Bloxom of Norfolk, 
Welton E. Bloxom of Richmond, Robert Bloxom of Portsmouth and J. Clayton Bloxom of 
Princess Anne County, and three nieces, Mrs. Gean B. Deming of Charlotte, N.C.; 
Mrs. Alma McNeer of Norfolk and Mrs. Genevieve Bailey of Jackson, Ga.
The body was taken to the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, where funeral services 
will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
