Henley and a retired nurse of the U.S. Public Health Service, died Monday in the Madonna Home, where she lived. She was born in New York City and lived here for 34 years. She entered Public Health nursing in 1924 and retired in 1946. She was a graduate of Capitol School of Nursing in Washington and served with the A.E.F. Base Hospital 45 during World War I. She also graduated from Bellevue and Allied Hospital of New York in 1911. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Advent and American Legion Woman’s Post 118. Survivors include a niece, Miss Wilhelmina Mary Young, and a nephew, George John Young, both of Vencetown, N.J. The body was taken to Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. The family asks that flowers be omitted and memorial donations may be made to the Madonna Home on 34th Street or to the building fund of Episcopal Church of the Advent.
