W. Henley, aged 75, died at his residence, 225 West Thirty-sixth street, yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, after a brief illness. He was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and was the son of the late Charles David and Annie Westworth Butt Henley. He was a member of the Park Place Methodist Church and Ideal Council No. 7, Jr. O.U.A.M. Mr. Henley is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mary V. Gale, of Norfolk; a niece, Mrs. William F. Crockett, of Virginia Beach, and three nephews, T. Barry, Clyde W. and Kenneth P. Henley, all of Norfolk. Funeral services will be conducted at the Cox Funeral Horne, 631 Westover avenue, corner Manteo street, Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. The Rev. L. G. Sturdivant, D.D., pastor of Park Place Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot in Elmwood Cemetery.
