Henley, in the thirty-first year of his age. Services at the chapel of the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, No. 1501 Colonial Avenue, Norfolk, Va., WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON at 3:30 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery. Norfolk Virginian Pilot February 28, 1940 (Correct DOD is Feb 21) *********************************************************** Herman Scott Henley - Funeral services for Mr. Henley, son of Mrs. Rosa Bloxsom Henley and the late Leonard B Henley, whose death occurred February 21, in Fort Stanton, N.M., were held at the chapel of the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, with the Rev. Jason L. MacMillan, D.D., pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a pall of red roses and maidenhair fern. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Harry E. Webb, Lee M. Bloxsom, Welton E. Bloxsom, Clayton Bloxsom, Elliott Henley, John Moreland, Fletcher Henley and Lee Henley.
