Norfolk Virginian Pilot February 4, 1945

                        R. C. HENLEY, 84, PILOT, SUCCUMBS

Capt. Robert C. Henley, 84, died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. F.E. 
Willie, in Hollywood, Fla., yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Besides his 
daughter he is survived by four sons, R.R. Henley, of Washington, D.C.; F.G. 
Henley, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; L.M. Henley, of Jacksonville, Fla. and E.K. 
Henley, of Scotia, N.Y., 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and several 
nieces and nephews.  He was a lifelong resident of Norfolk, a member of the 
Christiandelephia Ecclesia and a retired pilot of the Virginian Pilot of the 
Virginian Pilot Association.
The body will be taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Elmwood Cemetery 
for funeral services at the grave Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
