Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark February 19, 1923 

Mrs. Mary E. Henley, widow of W.H. Henley, 72 years old, died yesterday morning 
at 11:20 o'clock at the residence of her son, R.C. Henley, 614 Maltby Avenue.  
The body was taken to the funeral home of V.H. Smith, 631 Olney Road.  She is 
survived by one son, R.C. Henley; one daughter, Mrs. W.E. House and five 
grandchildren, all of this city.  Notice of funeral later.

HENLEY - At the residence of her son, R.C. Henley, 614 Maltby Avenue, Sunday 
morning, February 18, 1923, at 11:20 o'clock MARY E., widow of W.H. Henley, aged 
72 years. 
Funeral services THIS (Tuesday) AFTERNOON, February 20, at 3 o'clock from the 
funeral apartments of V.H. Smith, 631 Olney Road, corner Manteo Street.  Friends 
of the family invited to attend.  Interment Elmwood Cemetery.
