Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark May 19, 1934
Mrs. Annie Virginia Henley, aged 87, widow of William Jackson Henley, died at 
the residence, 1414 Lafayette boulevard, yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock.  She 
is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mary E. Capps, of Norfolk; two stepchildren, 
Mrs. Mary Reid and Henry Henley, both of Princess Anne County; a sister, Mrs. 
Bettie E. Dudley, of Norfolk; two grandchildren, Mrs. Charles W. Jones, Jr., of 
Norfolk, and William V. Capps, of Greensboro, N.C., and a great grandchild, 
Miss June Capps.  Mrs. Henley was a native of Princess Anne County, and had 
been a resident of Norfolk for the past 50 years.
Funeral services will be conducted at the residence tomorrow afternoon at 3 
o'clock.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
