Norfolk - Willie L. Henley, Jr. of 1820 Montclair avenue, the husband of the 
late Mrs. Ida B. Henley and a Norfolk native, died Monday, Jan. 23, in a 
hospital.

He was retired from Oceana Naval Air Station, Virginia Beach.  He was a member 
of New Calvary Baptist Church and its Pastor’s Aid Society.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Mrs. Dorothy Tyler, a son, Rufus Tyler, and a 
brother, James E. Henley, all of Norfolk;  and a grandchild.

A funeral was held Saturday, Jan. 28, in New Calvary Baptist Church by the Rev. 
Milton A. Reid.  Burial was in the family plot of Calvary Cemetery with Hale 
Funeral Home in charge.
