The Norfolk Virginian Pilot August 6, 1942
William Thomas Hennelly, aged 78, son of the late William Patrick and Mrs. 
Hannah Healy Hennelly, a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, died 
yesterday morning at 1:05 o'clock at a local hospital.  He resided in the 
Botetourt Apartments, 500 Botetourt street.  Surviving him are five daughters, 
Mrs. John D. Thomas, of Beaufort, S.C.; Mrs. Edward B. Curdts, of Providence, 
R.I.; Mrs. C.C. Sharp, and the Misses Eloise and Vera Hennelly, of Norfolk, a 
son, James H. Hennelly, of Washington, D.C.; two grandchildren and a sister, 
Miss Catherine A. Hennelly, of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial 
avenue, to St. Mary's Catholic Church, for services this morning at 9 o'clock.  
Interment will be private in Elmwood Cemetery.  Rosary services were held at 
the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial avenue, last night at 8 
o'clock.
