Norfolk Virginian Pilot October 9, 1953

Miss Catherine Augustine Hennelly, 79, daughter of the late William Patrick and 
Mrs. Hannah Healy Hennelly, a lifelong resident of Norfolk, died at the 
residence, 422 West 34th Street, Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
Miss Hennelly was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church practically all her 
life and until changing her residence to 34th Street, had been a member of 
Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Surviving are five nieces, Mrs. John D. Thomas, of Greensboro, N.C.; Mrs. C.C. 
Sharp, Mrs. Madlyn H. Curdts, Miss Eloise Hennelly and Miss Vera Hennelly, all 
of Norfolk and one nephew, James H. Hennelly, of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Blessed 
Sacrament Church for funeral services Saturday at 10 a.m. Rosary services will 
be held at the funeral apartments tonight at  7:30 o'clock.

Miss Catherine Augustine Hennelly - The body of Miss Hennelly, daughter of the 
late William Patrick and Mrs. Hannah Healy Hennelly, who died Tuesday at the 
residence, 422 West 34th Street, will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for funeral services today at 10 
a.m. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
