Mr. Hennessy was a native of Massachusetts and a resident of Norfolk for the past 27 years. He was president of W.T. Barron & Company, printers; a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society. Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Miss Dorothy Louise Rockwood, of Norfolk and two brothers, James Hennessy, of Los Angeles and William Hennessy, of Boston. The body was taken to H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-612 East Freemason Street, pending funeral arrangements. ************************************************************************ Thomas Hennessy Funeral Services Tomorrow Morning Funeral services for Thomas Francis Hennessy, classmate of Calvin Coolidge in his college days, will be conducted at Blessed Sacrament Church tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Hennessy, president of W.T. Barron & Co., printers, died at his residence, 704 West Twenty-ninth Street, Saturday night. The body will be taken from the funeral apartments of H.D. Oliver, 610-12 East Freemason Street, to the church for the services. Mr. Hennessy was a classmate of Mr. Coolidge at Amherst College from 1891 to 1895. He also was a classmate of Herbert A. Pratt, chairman of the board of the Standard Oil Company of New Jersey. D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason Street, to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for services this morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark March 6, 1934 ***************************************************************************** Thomas Francis Hennessy - Funeral services for Mr. Hennessy, whose death occurred Saturday night at the residence, 704 West Twenty-ninth Street, were held at 10 o'clock yesterday morning at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with the Rev. Leo J. Ryan, pastor, officiating. The Rev. W.A. Brosnan and the Rev. J.O. Schmidhauser were present in the sanctuary. At the conclusion of the mass Father Ryan paid tribute to the Christian life and character of the deceased. During the service Mrs. F.R. McLaughlin sang "O Salutaris," with Mrs. C.R. Davies accompanist. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a pall of carnations, snapdragons and ferns. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery. The pallbearers were W.E. Smith, Richard Smith, H.J. Henderson, John A. Farrenkopt, W.R. Moore, F.R. McLaughlin, James E. Hoy and Joseph Baecher.
