Funeral services for Joseph E. Henry, 59, 226 Nicholson street, who died at his 
home February 26, were held at Hale’s parlor, March 3.  The Rev. R. D. K. Garrett 
officiated.  Mr. Henry was born in Littleton, NC, and had lived here 20 years.  
Surviving are his widow. Lizzie Henry, and four stepchildren.  Burial was in 
Calvary Cemetery.
