Virginian-Pilot April 4, 1944
Mrs. Ella Eugenia Henry, 81, widow of John B. Henry and daughter of the late John 
and Margaret Neville Daniel, a native of Halifax County, N.C., and a resident of 
Norfolk for 62 years, died at the residence, 440 West Thirty-fourth street, 
yesterday morning at 5:30 o'clock. She is survived by two sons, Ernest G. Henry, 
of Norfolk, and John D. Henry, of Philadelphia. Funeral services will be conducted 
at the Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock, the Rev. 
L. G. Sturdivant, D.D., pastor of the Park Place Methodist Church, officiating. 
Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
