Norfolk Virginian Pilot November 29, 1949

Ernest G. Henry, 64, husband of Mrs. Lilly H. Henry and son of the late John B. 
and Mrs. Ella Eugenia Henry, died Sunday at 3 a.m. at his residence in Halifax 
County, North Carolina. A native and former resident of Norfolk for a number of 
years, he had made his home in Halifax County for three years.
He was a member of Machinist Union No. 11 and American Legion Post No. 36..
Funeral services will be conducted at the Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home today at 
3 p.m. by the Rev. R. Orman Bryant, D.D. pastor of the Park Place Methodist 
Church. Burial will be n Elmwood Cemetery.
