The Virginian Pilot Thursday December 12, 1957
Mrs. Jennie Florence Anderson Heptinstall, 86, widow of Jesse Lee Heptinstall, 
died at the residence of her son, Jesse Lee Heptinstall, Jr., 1313 Fairmount 
St., Greensboro, today at 6:45 a.m.
Besides her son she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Martha H. Rush, of Norfolk, 
Va.; a sister, Mrs. Lelia E. Sumlin, of Norfolk; a granddaughter, Miss Anne 
Heptinstall, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Heptinstall was a native of Halifax County, N.C., and until 15 years ago 
had been a resident of Norfolk for 42 years. She was a member of the 
Congregational Christian Temple.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Norfolk, 
tomorrow at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
