Norfolk Virginian Pilot December 31, 1951

Albert Everett Herbert, 79, husband of Mrs. Minnie Constance Herbert and son of 
Everett and Mrs. Sarah Cowell Herbert, died at a Norfolk hospital yesterday at 
2:30 a.m.  He was a native of London England and a resident of this section for 
six years, residing at 704 West Ocean View Avenue at the time of his death.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. William T. Freeman, of 
Norfolk; three grandchildren, Mrs. Daniel Gordon Griffin and Misses Jean T. and 
Martha Freeman, also a sister and several brothers in England.
Services will be held at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tomorrow at 11 a.m. 
by the Rev. Norman T. Slater, rector of the Episcopal Church of the Good 
Shepherd, Meadowbrook.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Albert Everett Herbert - Funeral services for Mr. Herbert, who died Sunday, were 
conducted at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments yesterday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. 
Norman T. Slater, rector of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Meadowbrook.  
Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Robert Trussell, T.E. Gardner, 
D.M. Bell, Arthur Riddick and Chester H. Prince.
