Norfolk - Mrs. Nellie Herbert of 1018 Mariner street, the widow of Willie
Herbert, died in a hospital.

A native of Norfolk, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Mrs. Angela Manley.

She was a domestic and member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Annie Whitfield of Norfolk;  and a niece, Mrs. Jean
Golden of Williamsburg.

A funeral service was held in Hale Funeral Chapel with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
