NORFOLK - Annette Catherine Hernandez, 83, of the 3300 block of Norway Place, died 
June 27,1987, in her home.
Mrs. Hernandez, a Pensacola, Fla., native, was a member of Christ the King 
Catholic Church. She was the widow of Joseph W. Hernandez.
Survivors include three daughters, Gloria H. Maloney of Puerto Rico, Jean Sisters 
of Oregon and Barbara A. Gabriel of Tampa, Fla.; a son, Joseph W. Hernandez of 
Norfolk; a sister, Mary M. Rosenkrans of Norfolk; 24 grandchildren; and 35 great-
grandchildren.
A joyful Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in 
Christ the King Catholic Church by the Rev. Thomas Long. Burial will be in Saint 
Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. A Christian wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday 
in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk. Memorial donations may be made to 
Christ the King Catholic Church.
