The Norfolk Virginian Pilot Wednesday April 8, 1936
Mrs. Emma Mansfield Herrgan, aged 75, wife of Frederick W. Herrgan and daughter 
of Joseph and Ellen Witsborger Dozier, died at a local hospital yesterday 
morning at 7 o'clock after a long illness. She was a native and lifelong 
resident of Norfolk, residing at 712 East Twenty-sixth street. Mrs. Herrgan was 
a member of Christ and St. Luke's Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 
the Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home, Thirty-fifth street at Colonial avenue, 
tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
