NORFOLK — Mrs. Louenza Mae Herring, 79, formerly of 3121 Vimy Ridge Ave., died 
Sunday in a Norfolk hospital.
A native of Sampson County, N.C., she lived in Norfolk for 50 years. She was a 
member of Temple Baptist Church and was a former member and children's choir 
director of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery at the 
graveside by Rev. John T. Evans of the Taylor Road Baptist Church. Burial will be 
in Elmwood Cemetery. The body will be taken from the Twiford Funeral Chapel, 
Colley Ave., to the cemetery.
