The Norfolk Virginian Pilot September 15, 1937
William A. Herron, aged 84, a former resident of Norfolk, died at West Palm Beach, 
Fla., Monday night at 7:30 o'clock. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. C.W. 
Carroll, and two grandsons, W. Herron and John N. Carroll, all of Palm Beach. 
Services will be held privately at H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-612 East 
Freemason street, this afternoon, with the Rev. Sparks W. Melton, D.D., pastor of 
the Freemason Street Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn 
Cemetery.
