Vernell E. Heusel, 83, of the 1800 block of Perrel St., died Oct. 9, 1990.

Mrs. Heusel, a native of South Norfolk, was the widow of Cornelius P. Heusel.

Survivors include three daughters, Vernell Hogan of Virginia Beach, Thelma 
Midgette of Chesapeake and Connie Sutter of Wilmington, N.C.; a son, Lewis Brownie 
of Wickenburg, Ariz.; a brother, Frederick E. Hodges of Chesapeake; and eight 
grandchildren.

A private service will be held at a later date. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 
Laskin Road, is handling arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made to the Chesapeake Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad.
