VIRGINIA BEACH - Cornelius Paul Heusel, 93, of the 1800 block of Perrel St., died 
Jan. 28, 1990, in a hospital.
Mr. Heusel, a native of New York, was a Catholic.
Survivors include his wife, Vernell Heusel; two daughters, Vernell H. Hogan, of 
Virginia Beach, and Connie Sutter, of Wilmington, N.C.; a stepdaughter, Thelma 
Midgette, of Chesapeake; a stepson, Lewis Brownie, of Wickenburg, Ariz.; and eight 
grandchildren.
A Joyful Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the 
Chapel of Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base by the Rev. Stuart T. Wilson. Burial 
will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Norfolk. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin 
Road, is handling the arrangements.
