Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark Tuesday June 4, 1935

Miss Grace K. Hewitt, aged 75, a former resident of Norfolk, died in Washington 
Sunday.  She was a native of Baltimore and lived in Norfolk for many years prior 
to going to Washington to make her home 30 years ago.  She was the daughter of 
the late G.H. and Mrs. Frances Woolen Hewitt.
Miss Hewitt is survived by a nephew, W.B. Dougherty, Norfolk and two nieces, 
Mrs. E.V. McGehee, Norfolk and Mrs. Ernest L. Cunningham, Washington.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Brother, 
631 Westover avenue, tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock, with the Rev. Archie Acey, 
pastor of Memorial Methodist Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Magnolia 
Cemetery.
