Norfolk Virginian Pilot April 12, 1940

Mrs. Agnes Wilson Hewlett, aged 80, widow of John Hewlett and daughter of Samuel 
and Mrs. Elizabeth Miles Wilson, died at the Lydia H. Roper Home yesterday 
afternoon at 4:30 o'clock. She was a native of Norfolk County and had been a 
resident of Norfolk 20 years. She is survived by one niece, Mrs. George Brewer, 
of Coral Gables, Fla., and a nephew, William Worthington, of China.
Services will be held at the chapel of the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 
Colonial Avenue, tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock with the Rev. John Fletcher 
Ward, rector of the Church of the Ascension, of which Mrs. Hewlett was a member, 
officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery
